  This painting, an abstract expressive piece, is the accumulative result of my experiences while sketching, painting, photographing, and hiking on the many Door County Land Trust sites. My self-imposed goal was to capture the multiple layers of birth, death, and rebirth, as well as the spirituality of such a soulful place. I composed a  variety of painting techniques, balancing each new stroke one off of the other, until this art piece felt finished.
